I Hate Running
This shirt, the “I hate running” shirt is one of our favorites in the workout classes at Temple. We have MANY people who come, and often times match at 4:15 in the infamous “I hate running” shirts from Walmart. The more I think about it, the mor
e I laugh. These people show up on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday to do mountain climbers, high knees, butt kicks, weighted jacks, flies, rows, squats, and lunges, but we HATE running! My point? Find what you do not hate and do it with all your not hate!
Many people who come to our workout class came for certain reasons, maybe their daughter was getting married and they wanted to tone before the wedding, or they were in a step competition and wanted to get extra steps in, these are fabulous reasons, but these people are still there, still coming to class after the wedding or after the step competition ended.
They love the fellowship, the encouragement, the little workout family we have all become. We celebrate in each others joys, we pray over each others struggles, and we encourage each other. So even if you hate running, or working out, find something you don’t hate, like the fellowship of a workout group and get to it!
