Protein Snacks

Many of you “worker outers” have probably noticed the more you work out, the hungrier you are. It only makes since, the calories you are burning, you’re body needs them back in a sense! Any time you work out with weights, you should eat protein. You have to feed those muscles you worked so hard to define! When I finish teaching my workout classes, I always tell my girls, “go eat protein and feed those muscles.” I wanted to drop some quick protein ideas!

Protein Snacks

Apple and Peanut Butter

Banana and Peanut Butter

Apple and Almond Butter

Banana and Almond Butter

Chicken

Ground Turkey

Almonds and String Cheese

Greek Yogurt and Peanuts

Veggies also make really good snacks, and help keep you full. They aren’t protein and are a better option as simply a snack, but they are a very forgiving snack.

Carrots and Laughing Cow Cheese

Roasted Broccoli

Celery and Peanut Butter

Snack, Snack, Snack…don’t let yourself get too hungry, that is when BAD choices are made! Good luck out there snackers!
