This, this is so, so, SO true. It seems when you decide you want to make decisions towards a healthier lifestyle, there are SO many choices and so many contradictions. Do this, but not that, but only do this if you plan to do that, but don’t you dare do this and that. It’s overwhelming and honestly a bit frustrating. Please understand, I am not saying any of these things are wrong, and if something works for your body, then great!! Do it! The reality is, not everything will work for everyone, no matter how good people make it sound. You have to find what works for you, for your body type. I will say, the most consistent things you can do are to eat less, eat less processed foods, more fruits and veggies, and add exercise into your routine. Those 3 things will do the trick no matter what other options you build around it!
